The Wire: Tour Guide

After 5 seasons and no more to follow, you might be going through some withdrawal. So this dude Jon S has created 5 guides through Baltimore, 1 for each season. So you want to see how good Avon's favorite spicy fish cakes are? Smash through Sterling Seafood.

Want to maybe hijack a container of 13 Russian hookers from Season 2? On the guide. Spent half a day on this shit and still keep going back to look at it.

Ignore the romantic walk maps with his honeybuns.

Radiohead -> All I Need

This Radiohead album, can't stop listening to it.
Nude and All I Need are definitely the 2 tracks that leave me baffled.

I guess one could say that this last album is a little less electronic sounding from the last few, but it still sounds like it has strong experimental sound that has always been a part of them. The reason I bring this up is because I'm constantly hearing about this debate about their sound. That they stopped being a good traditional band and have been relying on electronic equipment the past few albums to become avant-garde.

If they made another album of songs similar to The Bends, I'm sure it would still be good, and many people would like it. But this album is so much better than that album would ever be. And while it doesn't sound as spaced out as Kid A it still doesn't sound like a "traditional band" album.

Big up to Rik Cordero

Definitely into his video work, and listening to him talk about budgets and smashing
down that idea of only big budget video work is beautiful.

DJ Revolution feat. KRS One -> The DJ

An ode to The D.J.
This is not the whole song, just a snippet.
Off Revolution's recent full length.

Buck 65 -> Shutterbuggin'

Recently done video off Situation album. Really wish he would have done a video for Mr. Nobody, which is the illest track on the album. But this one is interesting.

Kanye West on Late Show last night

I've been hating on the vocoder hoopla for a while now. But this song and some others make sense. Hate me now.

Dreas -> Chaotic Nature

The phenomenal 45 slangin' Heardrums label has finally put out a Dreas full length album on CD, which officially drops today. Haven't been excited for an actual release in a while. Go to Access. http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=16557

Common Sense -> Soul By the Pound (remix)

Illa J -> R U Listenin' (behind the scenes)

So these are the tragic times...

I never gave in to spandex jeans. Skinny guys or fat guys in jeans that hug your butt because you feel like you should be dancing on a pole and bending over trying to show off your gay ass never made any sense. Maybe it's a contest to see who can have the most skin-tight jeans. Just like sneakerheads try to one-up each other with nikes, the spandex jean craze contest has gotten out of control.

Hipsters have to compete with girls who usually wear the most skin-tight jeans, but now these guys have to try and compete so it has gotten to this point. Where now guys have to try and tuck their nuts into their ass, and some even hold them back if their dick is big enough by inserting their shaft into their own ass.

Better than rave pants? Not really. It's going to take a few years, but this shit is gonna make most look dumb. I know there are variations to the level of constriction that these bondage pants provide. Some don't look as bad as above. But rave pants or hammer pants are looking pretty good. To each his own.

Can't wear briefs. "Wear boxers so my dick can breathe" and can't understand spandex jeans.

A Hero ain't shit, but a sandwich with lettuce on it...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I have to admit that HNIC 1 & 2 definitely put my head back into prospective or put me back in check if you will. Prodigy is one of the few rappers out there who knows whats really going on and I not just talking about money or bitches which we all love... I'm talking about Bilderberg, Illuminati and even black presidents are still politicians and they are all corrupt and overrun by corporations and elite. Plus the dude is just super gangster which all sums up my taste in hip hop since the 80's, which brings me to the topic of discussion. This man has been putting so much raw shit out, when I heard about "Product of the 80's" I was a little doubtful and made the assumption of man here goes another rapper tryna do "The cool kids" style or some lil wayne/tpain/kanye autotune shit that makes everybody sound the same, but never again will I doubt my dude. This album has been on constant bump since I got it, Un Pacino has my favorite line of the year "A hero ain't shit, but a sandwich with lettuce on it." That line pretty much explains how I feel about allot of people in life, industry and humanity.
Big Twins has got the most grimey style of present rap, dude reminds me of the early 90's East Coast cats that got plucked off the block and given the opportunity to make rap money instead of crack money. Twins voice is powerful and would be intimidating to the soft ear "I got allot of dreams I can come up from an ounce." I know allot of fools have said shit related to that line, but when Twins says it, it sounds real and anybody ever put in that position can relate.
By far my number one joint on the album is "Sex, Drugs and Murder" the beat is cracking, it has the 808 gangster rap snare that just cracks and the dramatic druglord synths that type of shit that Prodigy is known for.
Overall the whole album is a banger and so far this year, this is my shit, next to HNIC2. As we all know big P is locked up in Upstate NY and Alchemist was kind enough to post his mailing address on his blog, so if you wanna write the God and I've seen letters come back, heres his writing address.

I'mmmm back

Man - o -man it feels good to be back...
I am so movitaved to act instead of talk, but I still have to share my feelings on the state of "underground hiphop" not hip hop in general because, underground gangster rap is killing everything once again.
I am gonna put this as simple as possible, basically the whole world is blinded by the bright lights of not just hollywood and political events, but also the lazor/smog/greasy faced electro scene.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it all, but you gotta let your nose breathe in natural air instead acting like your the dude from "blow" (Johnny Depp and the real dude) and catching a nose bleed in random places like grocery shopping. In defense of the eletro scene, underground sux right now, so shape or we're really gonna leave you behind, maybe this video will be motivation for all you enthusist.
This sums it up.
