Tim Dog & Kool Keith: Project X >>> Iconic

Looking at the cover of this, some might question whether to attempt listening to this, since Keith puts out so many albums.

Must say entertainment and enjoyment value were high for this one. Tim Dog is the star of this album and rhymes hard and drops some funny lines.

The production on this one is decently done; unfortunately it doesn't push boundaries like 4 Horsemen and Dr. Octagon, but that was expected.

They describe what the album's about in the interview below.

BOMB SQUAD LIVE MIX 001 / 002 & 003 D-LOADS

Myka 9, Ab Rude, Eydea, Mister Fab + more SXSW cypher!

The days of the heated cyphers have long been dead, so this is kinda nice to see, reminds me of the 90's. Even Eyedea looks like the white dude who can rap, but doesn't really have that ghetto aggression to instantly gain the Black dudes respect.
Remember those days? Those were the days and now these are the days...

Mike, Aaron, and Eddie Tour

Haiku D'Etat on tour! May 22, Friday. Only thing better would be if Peace & Jupiter were there.

Grand Daddy I.U. -> Represent

An oldie but goodie.

Maker

Maker, the guy interviewed at the beginning of this blog, has not been mentioned lately. He has been doing what you guess he would be doing, making those beats that we can never get enough of. He guests on Rob Wonder's - No Static At All - Radio show.

He shares some rare tracks and his "International Players" remix is mega fucking beautiful. "Days Gone By" remix follows, dubbed out for maximum tree enhanced auditory pleasure, and some dope Glue tracks - "Goodbye" and "1970".

Also swing through his blog Shoot Breeze where he shares music and thoughts.

Existereo, K The I, and others in Fullerton, Sunday.

RBL Posse -> Don't Give Me No Bammer

Danny Brown >>> Hot Soup

Listened to this again today, and shit is pretty dope all the way. Detroit has got a lot of good music man. Like Black Milk says, it seems Detroit is slept on, even with Dilla putting it down like he did. Shit is annoying how people jump on stuff so late or discover artists at their worst moments. Common Sense was light years better than Common, but fuck it. Chicago shit is still slept on, at least the best Chicago stuff. People are fucking dumb.
