Good films with dope beats: a simple formula which allows them to be watched over and over again.




I guess it's obvious that KIDS would include a lot of good material because it came out in '95.
Got beats by Tribe, Jeru the Damaja/Premier, The Artifacts, Brand Nubian, O.C./Buckwild, The Beastie Boys, and my favorite inclusion, E-Rule's track Listen Up.
Also watching this film was the first instance where I heard Daniel Johnston during that skateboard beatdown. I could not find who was in charge of music selection, but he/she definitely made this one my top pick out of all the Larry Clark films.
